High-efficiency models or those with advanced features may be at the higher end of the spectrum. Local labor costs and any additional components or modifications needed for installation can also impact the overall price. It's advisable to obtain quotes from reputable HVAC professionals for accurate, up-to-date pricing.
Although it's not essential, some homeowners decide to update both systems at the same time for convenience. However, one system can be changed, while the other can be replaced later if necessary. We installed a new velocity wall hung high efficiency boiler. We began by removing the old oil cast iron boiler and removed the oil tank that was downstairs. We then built a wall to hang all pipe work and boiler onto . We piped in the boiler We ran gas pipe into the unit We pressurized everything and purged the system We wired the system all up and ran out new 2-in PVC venting for exhaust and fresh air intake.
